WHATS NEW!!
Mesa Softball had a good week going 3 and 1. They split in a 2 game tourney at Goldenwest college defeding Goldenwest College 10-5 but losing to Citrus 5-9. Than on Friday got 2 wins against El Camino. The 2nd game Carly Mitchell had a walk-off hit to win the game in the bottom of the 7th. Next week the Olympians will play Long Beach at home on Wed. and go to Rio Hondo on Fri. for a DH.
1st Tournament in 2012!
Mesa went 4 and 1 in the Glendale Tournament. Friday Mesa beat Santiago Canyon, Moorpark and Chaffey. Mesa advanced to the winners bracket and played City on Saturday and beat them 6-3. Sunday Mesa played Glendale in the semi-finals and lost 15-14 in the 8th inning.
It was a great weekend and Mesa is getting ready for their double headers on Wednesday at Goldenwest and Friday at home against El Camino.
2012 Sophomores
We are excited to have these five players as our leaders in the 2012 season. They all offer something that will help improve our team to be successful.

1. Ciara Washington- has speed and short game
2. Kaeli Hunyady- has great defense in the outfield
3. Becca Dawson- has her amazing speed stealing 18 bases last year
4. Melanie Hall- transfer who can play SS or CF and is great up to bat
5. Gabby Naidas- can be used as a utility player
Sophomore Leslie Kuhen has received a Scholarship to Whittier College and Dominique Dinner is playing at San Diego State University. We are so proud of them and wish them the best!

1) PE 216/217 Softball Mon-Thurs 1 to 3p.m.
2) PE 253A/253B Professional Activities T/TH 1245-2p.m.
