Make sure you have a Financial Aid Office password set up with us before communicating with us by phone, email and zoom, otherwise we will ONLY provide General Information.

Name, ID#, and your Financial Aid Office password, DO NOT include any attachments.

The Financial Aid Office maintains a password system that requires you to create a custom password if you intend to check the status of your financial aid over the telephone or by email. The system protects your confidential information and complies with Federal and State laws, as well as SDCCD procedures.

DO NOT SEND SENSITIVE DATA IN EMAIL

You need to be aware that there is a risk that someone could intercept your information if you choose this method. This can be particularly important if the data you are sending contains personal, sensitive or financial information.

- DO NOT attach any documents that have any Social Security Numbers (SSN) on them.
- DO NOT attach any sensitive data documents such as but NOT LIMITED to State Driver’s License or State Identification card, Passport Card, US Passport or Military Identification etc.
- DO NOT attach picture of documents with any SSN or sensitive data.
- DO NOT attach any State or Federal Tax documents.
